The Thatcham Flood Forum site refresh, which has been fantastic and well liked, has just been finished and work has started on a complete overhaul of the Business Training Solutions website, which should go live sometime between October and December 2011.

Work has continued on non website fronts with further Network and Software consultancy with several local firms. In addition computers and broadband connections have been set-up and.or repaired for local organisations and individuals. Work also continues on our own internal website projects and also development of existing and news sites continues with several existing clients.

We have remained busy over the last few months. We have worked on several projects, and are awaiting permission to release information on some of them. We have and continue to work with Headley Tyres to improve and promote their website and services. We have been providing IT training and consultancy to a few local(ish) firms and remain active in the community. With some luck we can provide more details and information over the comming weeks on some of the projects, specifically one Drupal site and theming of it.

So you may have noticed that there has not been too many additions to the portfolio pages for a while.

Why is that?

We have had a busy few weeks and so some of our internal projects, jimmyriddle.com and nickpics.co.uk, have been placed on hold. This has allowed us to get two of our clients sites up and running, these are Prestige Food (prestigefood.co.uk) and Headley Tyres (headleytyres.co.uk). We are still working on a few client sites, the next one to go live will be the Thatcham Festival of Arts and Leisure (thatchamfestival.info).

We are starting work on a website that will promote the "Thatcham Festival of Arts and Leisure." The website, thatchamfestival.info, will list all the events happening during the week of the festival but also show reports, photographs, etc. from the activities. Keep your eyes out for this new site...

We have been working on several sites here that are due to go live shortly, the first of which is a redevelopment of thatchamonline.net. We also have various other projects we have been and still are working on including jimmyriddle.com. We have however put a few domains up for sale as they were purchased for clients or projects that now look like they will not happen. These include nywd.co.uk and digital-slr.net.

We are constantly being asked to develop websites for free for people. A common request goes like this "Dear Sir, we are a non-profit making group and require a website. We do not make a profit and therefore expect you to be able to create a website for us fo free." Some are more direct than that.
